A fridge for your garage is just what you need for game day.

Football season is finally back! Now that America’s favorite pastime is upon us once again, we need to start getting our man caves together. There are deals for some beautiful new big screen televisions, restaurants have their own college football Saturday and NFL Sunday specials going on, and heck, we even see charcoal companies taking advantage of the start of the new football season.

The coolest in my book? I like the Whytner Toolbox Fridge at Amazon.

But the number one priority on your list (after having a beastly tv of course) should be to get a fridge for your garage/man cave. Is there anything worse than running out of your go-to beverage during the game and having to get up to bring back enough beers for everyone?

Would you rather have a mini-fridge for beer in the man cave? Find the best mini fridge for beer.

No! That’s why you need a refrigerator just for the garage. One that doesn’t have to fit in with the rest of your kitchen appliances. You need a fridge that has the sole purpose of keeping your drinks cold and in reach. Let’s look at a few refrigerators that would fit perfectly in your garage.

Whynter TBR-185SR Portable Tool Box Refrigerator

(This is a fridge!) No Kidding.

If your ideal place to watch a football game is in the comfort of your own garage, and you’re a mechanic, chances are you have some tool boxes in your garage already. The Whynter TBR-185SR Portable Tool Box Refrigerator lets you add a fridge to the mix, without making it look like you have a fridge.

This 1.8. cu.ft toolbox refrigerator is mainly designed to ensure it fits your garage with its exceptional features and red-coated stainless steel exterior. It is composed of heavy-duty drawers, secured doors, amazing interior lighting, convenient rolling casters, and an incredible auto-defrost feature. It is an all-in-one refrigerator to keep your favorite beverages safe, cold, and unnoticed.

PROS:

  • It has a powerful compressor cooling, perfect for keeping your beverages and food cool.
  • It has two easy-slide metal drawers to store a variety of tools in your garage.
  • This portable toolbox refrigerator has soft interior lighting with a lockable door, making it attractive and energy-efficient.

CONS:

  • Some users note the dents of drawers and change of exterior color; however, despite these observations, the Whynter fridge serves its purpose as a toolbox and refrigerator in one.

Should you buy this fridge?

This is an ingenious design. I love the thought of having a fridge that perfectly matches the decor of the toolboxes that a mechanic already has. It blends in and lets you be able to hydrate without having to go back into the house. The fridge runs quietly and smoothly.

One issue you may come across is how little high there is on the inside, making it a little harder to store multiple bottles in the fridge.

Midea WHS-121l LSS1 Compact Refrigerator

Standing at 18.6 x 17.7 x 33.9 inches, weighing 39.5 pounds, and with a holding capacity of 3.3 cubic feet, this mini fridge is a great option for your garage or man cave. It is made of stainless steel, so it will give a level of elegance that anyone would enjoy.

Looking for the best way to clean the outside of your fridge?

The Midea WHS is equipped with energy saving technology. It is energy star rated and runs very quietly only using 120 volts of power. As a plus, this fridge comes with a full 1-year warranty and a 2-year warranty on the compressor.

It has a large storing area that is great for keeping your beverages cool and storing snacks. The temperature can be adjusted from 32 – 35.6℉, so while it can’t freeze anything, it can certainly keep your drinks near-freezing temperatures.

It also features adjustable legs for any uneven surfaces and has the ability to reverse the hinges on the door so you can open the door from either direction.

Should you get this fridge?

This is also an excellent refrigerator. It not only looks beautiful, but it is highly functional as well. It keeps the contents inside it as close to freezing temperature as it possibly can without actually freezing them, and it runs quietly and efficiently.

However, I do not like how the back of the fridge begins to taper, making it a little awkward when storing two-liter bottles next to each other.

Newair 84 Can Beverage Cooler

This is a sweet cooler if you only need to store cans. It has a holding capacity of only 2.2 cubic feet, but it is the perfect size for cans. I mostly love that the inside of the fridge remains consistent, rather than tapering off at the sides life most mini fridges do.

It will keep the contents inside chilled at 34℉ so you can reach in there knowing that your beer is chilled to the max.

It also has five chrome racks that you can remove if you want to store bottles or anything else inside the fridge.

The best part is the look of it. It has a glass door with a stainless steel frame and a black cabinet. The design is stylish enough to fit in any room and holds plenty of beverages for the game day.

Should you buy this fridge?

There is only one issue I have with this fridge, and it is that is only has a holding capacity of 2.2 cubic feet. That said, if you are only using it to hold cans, then you will have more than enough space.

Wrap-Up

If you spend a lot of time in your garage, then you will find that a fridge for the garage is a worthwhile investment. It certainly isn’t necessary, but man is it convenient.

If you were to ask me, I would say my favorite is the New Air fridge. I love the design and the look of it. And while I don’t generally have a lot of cans, the ability to remove shelves means that I can still store quite a few bottles in there.
