Best Insulated Lunch Box for Adults

Bring your lunch. Stay energized throughout the day. The Lifewit Lunch box at Amazon.

Kids aren’t the only ones who need to take a lunch break. Adults need that same opportunity to get their mid-day meals. In fact, it has been proven that companies who provide their employees ample time to eat a well-balanced lunch and still have time to let it digest are significantly more profitable.

The coolest? I picked the Lifewit Lunch Box for Adults.

Notice the words “well” and “balanced” meals. That means if you want to be at your peak performance during the workday, you need to eat properly. That doesn’t include making a trip to Wendy’s.

The best way to do this is by preparing a healthy lunch at home but even that comes with its own hurdles that need to be jumped. The main hurdle? Keeping your lunch fresh until it’s time to eat.

Kids have those awesome Hello Kitty and Wonder Woman lunch boxes to keep their food cool during the day. But as an adult, you probably don’t want to show up holding one of those. So let’s look at some insulated lunch boxes that are suitable for grown-ups.

Lifewit Insulated Lunch Box

Lifewit Lunch Box for Adult 9L Insulated Large Lunch Bag Leakproof Thermal Bento Bag for Work, Grey

This lunch box is constructed with top of the line insulation to keep your meal fresh throughout the day. It is water resistant, dirt proof and has an interior lining made from food grade aluminum foil and has 8 mm padded EPE foam that provides excellent temperature regulation. Of course, it has an easy to operate zipper for opening and closing purposes.

Let’s look at some of the features this lunch box has:

  • Easy to access outside pockets with wide openings
  • Wide mesh pockets for storing your beverage bottles
  • Seamless one-piece design to protect from leaks
  • Generous size that can hold up to 2 meals
  • Grown-up design

This lunch box comes with a crossbody shoulder strap, or you can opt to carry it from the padded handle on the top of the box.

Should you get the Lifewit lunch box?

This is a decently priced lunch box that can carry tons of food and still has the ability to keep the food cool all day. The bag isn’t flashy. It comes in a neutral gray that would be great for those who want their lunch box to blend seamlessly with the rest of their gear.

Otto Box Lunch Cooler Bag

This is an all black lunch box that you can carry into work with you without having to feel like an adolescent. It is an extra large bag that measures 10.8 inches wide, 7.8 inches deep, and 9.8 inches in height so it will certainly carry an entire meal.

Because it is made with premium quality 600 denier nylon polyester, it is extraordinarily durable and very easy to clean. It is stain resistant, water resistant, and can be cleaned simply by wiping it down with a damp cloth.

Made with thick thermal insulation and high-quality nylon, this offers excellent temperature control to keep your food and drinks fresh all day long.

I like the travel-friendly features. Like the double sewn top handle, removable shoulder strap, and outer pockets that can hold your keys, phone, wallet, and more.

If you purchase this and do not like it (though I doubt that would be an issue), there is no need to worry. This also comes with a 100% risk-free, satisfaction guarantee. Otto Box merchandise is always backed by excellent customer service, and they will take care of you in the unlikely event that issues with your lunch box crop up.

Should you get the Otto Box?

I think this is a great lunch box to take with you, especially if you work outdoors. It is big enough to carry huge amounts of food and has enough insulation capability to keep your food fresh even in the warmest of environments.

Mr. Dakai Bento Lunch Box Container

This is a one of a kind lunchbox (or, lunch tube?). It is a leakproof container with great insulation capabilities and comes in a variety of colorful options.

Here’s the Mr. Dakai at Amazon.

Although this lunch container isn’t very big, it has three different containers that each hold 700 ml of food or more. The spiral tooth design allows your food in each compartment to stay at their optimal temperature, and because it is a bento box you can carry both hot foods as well as cold foods, without having to worry about them blending together.

Its simple design is elegant in its looks, while remaining fully functional.

If you work in an office and don’t have to expend much energy throughout the day, then I do think this will be a useful container for you. This is especially true if you want a lunch box with tons of personality. I love the idea of this lunch box and love the fact that it actually works the way it is supposed to.

Wrap – Up

If you want to be at your greatest potential during your work days, then you will have to have a light, healthy lunch at some point. And like we said earlier, that does not include fast food burgers. Get yourself an insulated lunch box, preferably one for adults, so you can save money and have a healthier diet. Of the options we looked at today, I feel the best for your money is the Lifewit insulated lunch box. The capacity is good, the materials are durable and it definitely doesn’t look like a kids box.
