If so, take a look at the Hamilton Beach 8 cup model…It was the first kind that I had when I first got married.
Hamilton Beach Brands was founded by the inventor Frederick J. Osius in April of 1910. All of their products are manufactured in the United States and marketed primarily for the US, Canada, and Mexico. In 1990, Hamilton Beach merged with Procter Silex. One of their highly-rated products is the Hamilton Beach Brands 70740 2-Speed 8-Cup Food Processor.
Dimensions and Capacity
The Hamilton Beach food processor has an 8 cup capacity work bowl big enough to accommodate a large amount of vegetables and fruits at one time. It measures 14 X 10.1 X 10.1 inches and weight 6.3 pounds.
Attachments and Features
This Hamilton Beach 2 speed model runs on a powerful 450-watt motor which enables 2 speeds with pulse control. Using this processor in your kitchen for food preparation is faster than cutting by hand the old fashioned way. It will save you time and effort and is easy to use. It is versatile and quickly chops onions, slices all your vegetables for a salad, shreds cabbage, grates cheese and even mixes sauces and pesto. The feed chute is large enough to fit an entire block of cheese to save you time from pre-cutting. The slice/shred disc and chopping blade are made from stainless steel. The blades store directly in the bowl and all parts are dishwasher safe, making this food processor easy to store and clean.
Cleaning and Storage
The processor fits conveniently on any kitchen counter within easy reach or optionally can be stored in a cupboard to free up your counter space. The lid of the processor flips over for compact storage and all the blades fit right into the bowl. It won’t take up much space inside your cabinets and keeps all the parts together. The Hamilton Beach food processor has grippers on the bottom of the appliance, so it stays in place when in use. No more holding onto your processor or worrying about it sliding around the counter when you’re using it. To clean up, toss all the removable parts right into your dishwasher and wipe down the appliance with a damp cloth. The appliance comes with a one-year limited warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship. In the unlikely event that the warranty was needed, Hamilton Beach Brands will repair or replace the product or part that is found to be defective.
From my research, other customers are more than satisfied with the unit.
It’s performance, compact size and versatile attachments are compliments that came out tops.
And even although it’s only an 8 cup, folks are overall happy with the amount of salsa, baby food and guacamole it can make in one go.
All in all, if you’re looking for a solid appliance and you are not too concerned about brand name, then get this Hamilton Beach. (Some people won’t get anything except a Cuisinart…which is fine…)
