One of the newest is the Ary Kapoosh Batonnet Knife Block. This is a unique knife block that lets you mix and match different sets of kitchen knives to easily store not only your knives, but any kitchen utensil.

Dimensions and Weight

The Batonnet Knife Block is easy to store and an aesthetically pleasing addition to your kitchen. The knife block has a dimension of 7 x 12 x 5.5 inches and weighs 5.5 pounds.

It gives you plenty of room to store your knives, up to a maximum of 15 knives. This number could be less depending on the type and size of your knives.

Construction and Freedom Rods

This knife block is made out of ¼ inch thick real wood. Inside the wood are rods that keeps your knife sharper by making sure that your blades will not scrap off the edge of the knife block. Maintain sharp knives that are safer and more efficient in your kitchen by checking out these great choices of electric knife sharpeners.

The rods are also dishwasher safe! All you have to do is place the Kapoosh freedom Rods on the top of your dishwasher.

More than one chef knife in your kitchen? No problem!

This knife block is unique is it does not have specifically shaped slot for each knife. If your kitchen has multiples of one kind of knife such as two chefs knives or two bread knives you may currently have storage issues.  One may hold a spot in your knife block while the other is relegated to a drawer or forces to be in a slot that doesn’t exactly fit.

The freedom rods are designed to hold any knife, therefore the storage of multiple same shaped knives is not a problem. As the knives are pushed in into the rods the rods began to push against each other, making each successive knife need a little more push or pull to get them in and out.  Be aware that there is a limit to how many knives the rods can hold before they become too “tight.”
